Spotlight on Thunderbolt Middle School

Thunderbolt Middle School (Home of the Thundercats!) opened in 1994. The school offers a wide variety of programs to challenge and provide opportunities for all our students. Here are a few highlights.

  • Using latest classroom technology. (Thunderbolt has 28 interactive whiteboards in use, and every teacher has a doc cam. An image of documents and objects placed under the doc cam can be displayed on a Smartboard or projected on a standard white board or projection screen.)
  • Awarded a B letter grade by Arizona Department of Education.
  • National Board Certified computer skills teacher.
  • Honors classes available.
  • Art, Band, Physical Education, computer classes, and Choir.
