Thunderbolt’s sport fees are listed below. They are per athlete, per sport, per school year.
Fees are not due for sports until the student has made the team.

The fee must be paid in full or payment arrangements in place before the first game of the season. Please contact the Thunderbolt Athletic Office to set up a payment plan at 928-854-7246.


Sign up dates for the upcoming Winter Sports teams will be Monday, Oct 23- Friday, Nov 3.
Paperwork will be due by Thursday, Nov 9.

TRYOUTS - time and location not yet finalized

Boys Basketball tryouts are Monday thru Wednesday, 11/13 - 11/15.

Girls Basketball tryouts are Monday thru Wednesday, 11/13 - 11/15.

Spiritline tryouts are Wednesday thru Friday, 11/15 - 11/17.

WINTER SPORTS (November - February)
Basketball Interscholastic Boys & Girls Grades 7, 8 $200.00
Spirit Line Basketball Girls Grades 7, 8 $100.00  

SPRING SPORTS (February - April)
Softball Interscholastic Girls Only Grades 7, 8 $200.00  
Baseball Interscholastic Boys Only Grades 7, 8 $200.00  
Track Interscholastic Boys & Girls Grades 7, 8 $100.00  


The documents that require signatures will need to be printed off, signed, and returned to Thunderbolt Middle School before tryouts or a sport begins. You can start the sign-up process online.

Plan to have the following documents completed and turned in one week prior to the athletes tryout dates.

  • Student Athlete Emergency Card.
  • Physical forms.
  • Concussion Statement & Acknowledgment.
  • Athletic Contract.
  • Proof of Medical Insurance.
  • Birth certificate or appropriate substitute on file.
