Whenever you are handling a hazardous material, you must
be familiar with the above information to avoid possible accidents resulting
from not knowing what to avoid. You can handle the material more safely
if you know how it will react under different circumstances.
Stability: Stability is the ability of the material
to remain unchanged under reasonable conditions of storage and use.
Conditions to Avoid (e.g., elevated temperatures,
Incompatibles (chemicals that react violently with
material or releases dangerous by-products): Use this information
to determine what substances should not be stored near the product.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: This section
should list any hazardous chemicals given off when the product burns or
when it degrades or decomposes without burning. Note that Bowl Descaler
Pro can give off hazardous fumes when involved in a fire.
Hazardous Polymerization: A chemical reaction
in which one or more small molecules combine to form large molecules that
may release heat or gases which can burst a container.
