Oro Grande students hold some of the items donated for Child Protective Services.
Our students and staff often do things worthy of recognition. A few weeks ago (in early January), our students were told that Jamaica teacher Stephanie McCorkle was in a Havasu Leadership Development class, and she and her classmates were looking for donations of various art supplies, books, backpacks, and other miscellaneous goods for the Department of Economic Security's Child Protective Services department. Our students responded, bringing their donations to school where they were collected by student council members. Our student council sponsor Mr. Goss, delivered the supplies to Mrs. McCorkle. Oro Grande students and their families are generous.
