Daytona Middle School

98 Swanson Ave

Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403

(928) 505-1460

Daytona Middle School was established in 1998 when overcrowding at Thunderbolt Middle School necessitated reopening the former Lake Havasu Junior High campus to accommodate more students. Presently Daytona has approximately 500 students and a staff of 26 teachers.  Daytona’s stable administration and solid core of teachers help create an atmosphere of high standards and sound  programs for the Daytona students.

Daytona's unique campus allows the beauty of Lake Havasu City and the Daytona campus to be enjoyed by the students  when traveling between classes. Each building houses four     classrooms around a teacher work center. Because the buildings are separate, students have the chance to be outside in the beautiful Havasu weather wherever they go.

The caring and enthusiastic staff here at Daytona helps make things happen for students. Whether it is instruction, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, contests, service or recognizing students for their achievements, the Daytona staff promotes and instills pride. Students are encouraged to develop their strengths. For students to find out what makes them great, all they need to do is participate!

Daytona students know one another and feel like they are an important part of the school. Friendly students, caring teachers, opportunities to grow and learn with pride--that's Daytona.
