Tax credit helps student athletes.
Your tax credit contributions help support athletic programs at Lake Havasu High School and Thunderbolt Middle School.

In 2010, tax credit contributions helped raise over half a million dollars for extracurricular activities like band, sports, and student government. Would you like to support worthwhile programs for students? Would you like to keep more of your tax dollars in Havasu? Would you like to decide where those tax dollars go? You should participate in the tax credit program.

Arizona tax law (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a tax credit of up to $400 if they elect to support school extracurricular activities. Any Arizona taxpayer can do this, whether they have a child or not and whether they live in Lake Havasu or not. The total amount you may claim depends on your filing status. Stop by any school or the district office for details and to start your participation, or use the links above to get forms and additional information. You'll receive a receipt for your records and may save an equal amount in Arizona state taxes.

Remember, tax credit forms and checks must be received or postmarked by December 31 to receive the tax credit for the current year.
