NOTES: PowerSchool will be down for maintenance the weekend of August 23-24, 2014. The work should only last a few hours, but we don't have a specific time for when it will be done.
Read archived PowerSchool Notes.
Lake Havasu Unified will start using new student management software
during the 2009-10 school year. This software is called PowerSchool and
is published by Pearson Education. It offers the potential to do many
things we could not do before, from creating online newsletters to letting
parents see their children's grades online, anytime they want. (Teachers
need time to score tests, papers, etc. and post the grades. Allow a reasonable
amount of time before looking for a new grade online.)
Some features will be phased in over time as we learn how to take advantage of them. There is a learning curve for both district staff and parents. This page will provide links to the different access pages, or portals, available depending on whether you are a parent, teacher, or administrator, and links to help documents.
You may want to bookmark your portal page to save having to go through the school website and this page each time you want to visit, but remember this page is here if you need more information.
