Governing Board to consider expanding tax credit options

Governing Board members are looking into developing a process in which tax credit opportunities could be afforded to after-school programs at elementary schools. Since its inception in 1998, the district’s tax credit for extracurricular activities program has helped area residents support school activities while providing a dollar-for-dollar reduction in state tax liabilities.
